Your mission

We are looking for a data engineer that digs deep into the data of millions of rental units across the DACH region. You will be responsible for supporting the other competencies in leveraging this data to create a better product for our customers.

  • You architect, build, and launch efficient & reliable data models and pipelines in partnership with software engineers
  • You identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • You contribute to shared Data Engineering tooling & standards to improve the productivity and quality of output for leadership team and product owners
  • You design and implement metrics and dimensions to enable analysis and predictive modeling
  • You design and develop dashboards or other data resources to enable self-serve data consumption
  • You work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Design and Business Intelligence teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Your profile

  • You have at least two years of relevant data engineering experience
  • You have experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You are proficient in a primary development language, ideally JavaScript / node.js
  • You are able to operate independently and self organized
  • You have experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
  • Your presentation and communication skills are strong in order to bring knowledge into the value teams
  • You have knowledge or are able to quickly onboard on our tools: Jira, Git, AWS, GitLab
  • You speak english fluently and are able to communicate written and verbally
